COME SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR NEW ZEALAND’S HEALTH CARE WORKERS!
New Zealand’s nurses, midwives and health care workers have put up with poor pay and being over worked for years. No longer. Nurses through their Union have rejected two pay offers from the nations DHB’s and now look set to take industrial action in their fight for fair pay and safe working conditions.
This effects all of us. We all benefit from a safe an efficient health care service. If good nurses are forced to leave a hospital due to poor pay, we all lose. Unions Wellington is hosting this meeting to show support for Nurses.
Unions Wellington is hosting a public meeting on the crisis in public health, and how we can support the campaign on:
Wednesday, April 11th from 6pm @Â the PSA office, 11 Aurora TCE.
More information about the campaign here: https://www.healthneedsnursing.nz/
Speakers TBC.
As always, there will be some food available for a gold coin donation, and there will be a child friendly space available (child care available on request).
All welcome, please come along to show your support for nurses!
